Review: SKINFOOD Peach Sake Pore Pact

compact
Hi everyone!
I’ve been asked to do a review of this pact and since I’ve been using it for a few weeks now I think I can give a fair and accurate review.

Packaging:
I really like the packaging for this pact. It’s simple, but pretty and effective. The container is a light peachy colour, in fitting with the name and I really like the little picture of the peaches on it. It’s a decent sized product; you get 9g of powder and the mirror is a good size too so it’s easy to use. There is a cute little peach in the powder that you can see in the picture below too, which I thought was a really nice touch. One of my favourite things about this is the powder puff, it’s so soft and lovely to use! It also has a little plastic separator inside to keep the powder puff and the powder separate, which is very useful.

Scent:
It has a really beautiful, light peach scent that I adore. It’s very fresh and subtle, it’s definitely one of my favourite scented make-up products. It actually smells like real peaches! I hate when scents smell artifical so this is perfect.

Texture/Application:
The pressed powder is quite soft and picks up easily on the powder puff. I’ve never had any problems with the puff picking up too much powder either, so it never looks cakey on my skin. You can apply as much or as little as needed. I only use a small amount to set my make-up and to cover up any oily areas (mainly my t-zone) and you can barely tell I’m wearing it. It applies as a matte finish and I think it really improves the look of my skin while still being really light.
Other powders I’ve used have shown up too much on my skin, in particular around my nose, but this one is like a second skin! When I’m going to work I normally just use a balancing moisturiser and then use a fine layer of powder over the top for oil control.

Lasting Power:
My skin is prone to getting oily easily as the day goes on and I would normally have to apply my powder a couple of times a day. I’ve found that with the Peach Sake Pore Pact I can apply it at about 9am and it doesn’t need touching up for about 5-6 hours, which is fantastic!

Price:
I bought mine from Beauty Net Korea for about £5.35. I think this is a fair price and it’s worth every penny, I really recommend this pressed powder pact.
